New York Times Spring issue of T-Design

"Family Style" is the cover story of the New York Times spring issue of T Design celebrates the lived-in look, in which a young family shakes up a grand English manor house.

in 2004 it was bought by Chris and Jo Mycock, the owners of a successful I.T. company. Four years (and five architects) later, they finally moved in, once the soul of the building had been restored — as a family house, for a modern family — by the London designer Ilse Crawford. Very impressiv, see for yourself ...

Jumina - a Norwegian Fairytale

Elisabeth G. Rognmo, a Norvegian designer, founded Jumina in 2006, handmade norwegian design. She started from  here home and combines her work with her 3 children that give her lots of inspiration for her work. I met Elisabeth first in Amsterdam, at the kleine Fabriek and immediately fell in love with her extraordinary design. Elisabeth is creative and environmentally aware, and puts quality a top priority, which characterize the clothes from Jumina.

The current summer Collection 2011 is a limited edition. You will find vintage details that make the collection so special and unique! All clothing and accessories for spring/ summer 2011 are designed and handmade with love in only a few copies by Elisabeth herself. You will not find a garment that is completely identical. The brand produces a collection of about 20 sophisticated pieces for each season and uses a story and concept within the design to create a ”Fairytale nordic design”. www.jumina.no

The current Junima summer collection will be the last season handmade . Next season autumn/winter 2011, Juminas collections will be produced fair trade in Norwegian factories. The clothes are all in natural materials as organic fair trade cotton and wool.

You can shop the Jumina collection on their online shop. Jumina will have retailers in Norway and trough out Europe from Autumn/ winter 2011. If you want to be a retailer please contact Elisabeth by mail on elisabeth"at"jumina.no.
